SOME of the greatest guitarists in rock will be celebrated at a special show at Blackburn’s Empire Theatre tomorrow night
Virtuoso musician Phil Walker will present The Story of Guitar Heroes beginning with the birth of rock and roll in the 1950s with the likes of Chuck Berry and Bill Haley through to modern guitar legends such as Jimmy Page and Brian May.
The live band uses over 30 guitars to recreate and accurately reproduce the sound of each guitar hero. and the show also features video footage of historical moments and state-of-the-art lighting.
Now in its fifth year, more guitar legends have been included in the show including Steve Vai and Jimmy Hendrix.
