A MAN was taken to hospital after police were called to an address following reports of concern for welfare.
Officers were called to Atlas Road in Darwen at about 2.20pm on Sunday after receiving calls over the safety of the man in the property.
An air ambulance was also called to the scene.
A spokesperson for the police said: "An ambulance was called as we had concerns over the safety of the man.
"He was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for checks, but he is believed to be doing fine."
The man remained in hospital on Monday.
