FIREFIGHTERS were called to two separate fires in a village within an hour of each other.
Crews from Blackburn and Hyndburn stations were called to Higher Ramsgreave Road, Ramsgreave, just after 5.30am this morning to extinguish a fire involving two vehicle.
Firefighters used two hose reels and a thermal imaging camera during that incident.
However firefighters from Hyndburn station, this time joined by colleagues from Great Harwood and Darwen, returned to the village at 6.20am to extinguish an outbuilding fire on Ramsgreave Road.
Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire.
