POLICE stopped the owner of this Harley-Davidson in Poole earlier this week – because the bike wasn't insured.
Officers from Dorset Police's No Excuse team have now seized the Harley after it's rider told them he thought he'd "just chance it".
A spokesperson from the team said: "We stopped the rider for undertaking several cars in a bus and taxi lane.
"This would have been a £50 ticket but then, as always, we checked the insurance.
"The rider admitted it had expired the previous day and he was 'chancing it' to get to work and seek some online quotes there."
The bikes sell for around £20,000 brand new.
On October 9, No Excuse officers stopped two uninsured supercars in Poole.
The team pulled a McLaren and a Porsche over during a morning patrol.
