A HOSPITAL worker has been cooking up ginormous versions of his favourite treats — including samosas and Jammie Dodgers.

Luqy Adam films himself baking the sweet and savoury treats at home, before sampling the impressive creations.

The 26-year-old, from Blackburn, has made snacks including a giant Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, a massive samosa and a colossal Jammie Dodger, as well as what he claims to be the UK’s biggest cinnamon bun.

Lancashire Telegraph:

Mr Adam decided to put his creations on social media and set up his own YouTube channel.

He bakes his treats on his days off from working as part of the theatre therapy unit at Royal Blackburn Hospital.

The vlogger started filming around six weeks ago and has already accumulated thousands of views on his channel ‘LA TV’.

Mr Adam said he has always been a foodie, with a passion for cooking, and wanted to do something creative.

He said: “It was my wife’s idea to make a video of it.

“I had wanted to make a giant samosa for a while and, during the cooking, she suggested doing a YouTube video and it has gone from there.

“It’s great — the video editing and talking in front of camera is all new to me but I’m getting the hang of it."

During his videos, Mr Adam talks about how he is going to make the food, as well as throwing in comedic moments and jokes.

He then goes on to sample his efforts and gives his verdict.

Each video takes around three hours to shoot and a full day to edit.

Looking forward to whipping up his next creation, Mr Adam said: “I’ve got a few ideas in the pipeline and I want to make something to do with Blackburn, or Lancashire, and take it to the centre of town to show people.

“I’m thinking a Lancashire biscuit and a giant cup of tea, but I will need to think about how to do it.”
