POLICE firearms officers arrested four men this morning (Tuesday) at the M6 Services at Knutsford.
The men, all from Derby, were arrested by Staffordshire Police firearms officers at 11am after police stopped a vehicle at the services.
A 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of a sharpened or bladed article, two 19-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and a 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
They remain in custody, and the arrests were conducted on behalf of another force.
