LEADING International construction specialist Ardmac has been awarded the fit-out contract of Royal London’s new office in Alderley Park.

The contract sees a high-quality fit-out of Royal London’s new Wilmslow office in Alderley Park.

The scheme, designed by BDP over five floors of Block 90, will entail a fit-out comprising an 86-seat auditorium in the central atrium, a full catering kitchen with restaurant and canteen, and bespoke office accommodation.

The building will be home to more than 1,200 employees once complete.

Work on the building started at the end of September, with handover expected in April 2020.

Phil Chadwick, operations director at Ardmac, said: “We are delighted to be working with Royal London on the fit out of their new office building at Alderley Park.

“This fit-out is the latest in a series of high profile projects we are currently completing across the north west and we are proud to be working on this landmark project.”

Nick Meikle, Royal London’s Group Technology and Change Director at Royal London said: “We look forward to seeing our new office in Wilmslow transform over the coming months with this exciting refurbishment.”

The announcement follows Ardmac’s naming as Commercial Refurbishment Project of the Year at the Insider North West Property Awards.
