THREE men are due to appear in court today over an alleged £4million cannabis farm which was discovered in Darwen.
Police raided industrial premises on the Apex Trading Estate in Lower Eccleshill on Tuesday morning.
An estimated 8,000 to 10,000 plants, which would have an estimated street value of between around £3.2million and £4million, were recovered.
Large amounts of electrical equipment and sleeping bags were also found within the unit.
Police later charged three men, arrested at the scene, with cultivation of cannabis.
Jacek Pieczur, 24, Aurel Gjuzi, 24 and Sulejman Lloni, 31, all said to be of no fixed address, were each charged with the offence and remanded to appear before Blackburn magistrates.
