TWIN appointments have been made to help set a leading Blackburn manufacturer on the path to growth.
Jenny Kennedy has joined Whitebirk-base Pets Choice (PC), which includes the leading dog food brand Webbox, as their head of category and insights.
Meanwhile Kelly Hall has been installed as their national account manager for the grocery retail sector.
Together the pairing has more than 30 years worth of experience in the trade and look set to help chief executive Tony Raeburn to realise his dream of expanding the Lower Phillips Road firm yet further.
Before her arrival in East Lancs, Jenny was a graduate trainee with Sainsbury's and also has roles with Mars and Kellogg's on her CV.
She has been tasked with ensuring 'shopper's rationale' is at the heart of PC's business decision, as well as driving growth.
Kelly's pedigree comes with experience of handling sales and marketing accounts for grocery kingpins like Tesco, Morrison's, Waitrose and the Co-op.
Jenny said: "Pets Choice is a major player in the pet food market, with a plethora of fantastic brands in its portfolio.
“It’s a really exciting time to be joining the business as it looks towards growth plans for 2020 and beyond.
Mr Raeburn added; "Our people are a real asset to our business and we’re delighted to welcome Jenny and Kelly to the team.
“Their in-depth knowledge....is going to prove immensely valuable for us as we take the next steps towards meeting our ambitious growth targets."
