A LEADING motor trader in Burnley has given away thousands of hours for staff to pursue their long-held ambitions.
Staff at Motorpoint, which has a major presence at Gannow, have been afforded the opportunity to chase a number of volunteer and charity goals since the launch of the company's One Big Dream scheme just over a year ago.
Ninety per cent of staff at the firm, based in Rosegrove Lane, have taken advantage of two paid hours off per month as part of the initiative.
Cat Moseley, the firm's HR director, said: "It’s proved to be a huge success with the vast majority of the team utilising those hours for everything from school pick-ups and harvest festivals through to gym sessions and even dinner with a professional rugby player."
