A Blackburn teenager won first prize in a cake baking competition back in 1969.
This picture from our archives shows 15-year-old Lesley Wilson who attended Pleckgate High School with her winning cake, which wowed judges in a competition entered by 10 of the 11 secondary schools in the town.
Lesley walked away with the silver challenge cup, which was to be competed for each year.
