A CLUB for retired professionals is breaking the mould by seeking female members.
North Blackburn Probus Club has opted to 'move with the times' and open up their ranks to men and women.
The announcement was made after outgoing president Bernard Croft handed over the reins to his replacement Hywel Williams at their annual general meeting.
In the past year the club, which meets fortnightly at Lammack Methodist Church, has staged talks on the Suffragettes, Thomas Beckett and South East Asia.
