BOSSES at an East Lancs sports supplement giant are set to unveil a new protein powder line later this year.
The announcement has been made as Nelson-based Science in Sport (SiS) records increased group revenues for the first six months of 2019.
Late last year SiS acquired the interests of rival PhD for £32million, subsequently relaunching their website.
And it is the PhD arm of the business which is expected to host a new manufacturing site, at their Lomeshaye Industrial Estate factory, from November.
Stephen Moon, SiS chief executive, said: "The integration of the PhD and SiS brands remains firmly on track and we are particularly excited by the potential of the PhD.com e-commerce business.
"Important milestones achieved in the first half include relaunching the PhD.com website, opening an e-commerce fulfilment facility and exploiting international distribution synergies, as well as the integration of teams across both brands."
He says brand awareness and e-commerce investments will keep the firm on track to meet year-end targets.
