WORKS to improve one of Bury’s largest retails parks should be completed by November, say property bosses.
Refurbishments have been ongoing at Angouleme Retail Park, home to the likes of TK Maxx, Argos, Poundstretcher and PC World.
Picton Property Income, the site’s managers, say the project was responsible for a new letting, with Brand Interiors paying £100,000 a year for premises there.
Bosses say they have also renewed the Argos lease for a further 10 years, at £200,000 per annum, which is ahead of expectations earlier this year.
In a September update for investors, chief executive Michael Picton says the company, which oversees 19 other initiatives, alongside their interests in Bury, has made progress across all sectors.
Their combined rental value is £2.4m a year, which is around four per cent ahead of estimates made in June. Further investment is expected in their locations through 2019.
Mr Picton added: “We have been encouraged by the level of portfolio activity over the traditionally quieter summer period, especially given the current political backdrop.”
