AN over-turned lorry is causing disruption for motorists on a motorway in Lancashire.
Lancashire Road Police tweeted about the incident on the M6 this morning with dramatic photos of the closure of the southbound carriageway.
However, officers say it is going to stay shut until 3pm and then will be a full closure tonight.
The M6 South between 32 and 31A will remain closed till approximately 3pm. At which point it is likely only one lane South will be re-opened. There will be a full closure again at 8pm tonight for resurfacing to take place.

The incident took place at 9.10am when the lorry jackknifed before overturning near junction 31a and spilled around 200 litres of fuel across the carriageway.
**M6 SOUTHBOUND CLOSED** between 32 & 31a due an overturned HGV trailer & plant machinery which had leaked over 200 litres of diesel across all the lanes for at least half a mile. They also tweeted that recovery vehicles are at the scene and Highways England officials are 'putting the measures in place to get the hard shoulder open for the trapped traffic only to come past the scene.
They added: "Hopefully this should be within the next 15 mins so please remain in your vehicles and be ready to move."
