Appeal to find missing Darwen teenager
AN appeal has been launched to find a missing 15-year-old from Darwen.
Officers from Blackburn with Darwen Police are trying to find Avril Athern.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "Avril was last seen on Monday morning when she left her home address to attend school.
"She was wearing a school uniform with black skirt, tie and jacket.
"Avril is of slim build, 5ft 6in and has shoulder length dark hair.
"If anyone can provide any information about Avril's whereabouts then please contact Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log reference LC-20190916-0466."
