A CHARITY football match and family day is due to take place in Gargrave this weekend in support of children and adults born with congenital heart disease.
Sunday’s event will feature a 11-a-side match, and will be held at the village’s football pitch, at the edge of the village.
There will be one football match, plus a children’s penalty shoot-out, and races with prizes.
There will also be a petting farm, pony rides and raffles, with prizes donated by many businesses in the area. Kick off is 11am, and there will also be food and a licensed bar, a bouncy castle, and face-painting for children.
The event will raise money for the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund, which supports the work of the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit at Leeds General Infirmary.
