A 93-year-old man has had two rings stolen from his nursing home bedroom.
Police are now investigating the theft, which took place in a nursing home in Bacup, in the early hours of Thursday morning, and are asking for help in identifying the woman pictured in the CCTV images.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We are asking for help in identifying this female in connection with the investigation.
"The rings that wer stolen are described as follows: a man's gold signet ring with a kite shaped diamond on the top, and a man's gold signet ring with a red ruby on top and 15 small diamonds around it.
"This was a cowardly and despicable crime against a vulnerable man in his own home, which has left him very shaken and anxious and we would urge anybody with any information to contact us on 101 or email 4228@lancashire.pnn.police.uk using log number 0177 of September 12."
