A HOUSING association anti-social behaviour order officer had his car vandalised when he went to speak to a troublesome resident.

Blackburn magistrates heard Tracy Louise Fullard threw a piece of door surround from her first floor flat which landed on the official's car causing £250 worth of damage.

Fullard, 52, of Parklands Way, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to criminal damage to a car belonging to Amjed Sodagar. She was ordered to pay £210 compensation.

Tracy Yates, prosecuting, said Mr Sodagar had attended at the defendant's address following complaints about her behaviour from other residents

He had spoken to her and as he was leaving heard a bang and looked up to see the defendant standing there.

"He asked why she had thrown something at his car and she said next time it would be meat balls," said Mrs Yates.

Ian Huggan, defending, said his client had been given a caution on condition she paid for the damage but had been unable to raise the money in time.

He said she could not explain why she committed the offence.
