Can I acknowledge the integrity that Phil Parkinson and Steve Parkin and the rest of their management team showed during the horrendous times they had to endure at BWFC.

I hope the new owners do ask if they want to return. They did resign just prior to the apparent club salvation and deserve a chance to return.

In any event I hope they find a club they deserve.

Song wise....many years ago my friend, now aged 83, wrote a song called The Football Song (There'll always be a football club in our town)....it has become completely relevant and its lyrics are not specific to any club but could be a rallying call to any club with financial concerns.I believe now is its time and it could be a Three Lions for the lower league. Howard Broadbent wrote it and he has had well known songs in the past for known bands such as the BBC Series Sit Thi Down with The Houghton Weavers.
