ACCRINGTON-based charity Lancashire Women has organised another walk across the county to raise cash after last year's counterpart won an award.
The two-day event will start in Blackpool on Saturday September 21 and end the following day in Burnley - reversing the 2018 route.
The 40-mile walk will include stops in Preston, Riley Green, Cherry Tree and Accrington.
Last year's fund-raising trek was voted ‘Event of the Year’ at the Hyndburn Business Awards.
Lancashire Women runs a network of women’s centres across the county including in Blackburn and Burnley.
Last year they provided 6,500 women with support in areas like mental health and wellbeing, employment and skills, and money advice.
Adele Helm, the charity's business development officer said: "Anyone can come along and join in. We had such a great time last year that we've decided to do it all again, covering 40 miles over two days. Join us as we walk across Lancashire – via all our four women's centres."
Further details are on the charity's website.
