It's the first day back at school for many children across East Lancashire today.
And there's a lot of excitement for parents who are sending their kids off for the very first time too.
Therefore, to celebrate the milestone, the Lancashire Telegraph is putting together a spread of your loved one's first day at school.
We are asking readers to send in pictures of their little ones (and not so little ones), on their way to their seats for learning.
Please send all pictures with details of where you're from and the full name of your child to amy.farnworth@nqnw.co.uk or using the contributions tool below.
The fantastic photos above were sent to our colleagues in East Renfrewshire, Scotland, when the schools went back last week.
You may have seen little Lucie whose photos went viral, even appearing with her mum Jillian on This Morning, after what looked like a particularly eventful first day back at school.
And for those parents whose children will be starting primary school or moving to secondary school in September 2020, online applications for Lancashire school places go live today (September 2).
The national closing dates are October 31 2019 for secondary schools, and January 15 2020 for primary schools.
For more information go to lancashire.gov.uk/schools.
Parents can also call 0300 123 6707.
