Shamima Namaji from Blackburn Central High School
SUPER star Shamima Namaji gained five nine GCSE grades at Blackburn Central High School.
Shamima achieved the top results in maths, geography, English literature, religious studies, English language, as well as an 8 in chemistry and a seven in biology, physics and Spanish.
Shamima was told she was the only one in her year to get a 9 in geography, and second highest grade in maths.
Shamima said: "I'm really happy and did not expect to get more than one nine, but to get 5 nine grades it was beyond amazing."
Her mum, Fatima Namaji said: "Shamima has done extremely well, super proud of her, all the revision, hard work and commitment has paid off. She believed she could and she did."
