Three students have secured places to study performing arts next year.

Ella Roberts will study at the SLP College in Leeds, while Erin Davies and Ellie Brown will both attend LIPA in Liverpool.

Denbigh High School headteacher Dr Paul Evans was delighted with the results.

He said: “I would like to congratulate all our year 11 students for achieving success in their GCSE results, which follows on from our fantastic A-level results last week.

“These results have provided our learners with a solid foundation upon which to pursue their chosen career paths and we wish them ongoing success.

“Achieving this set of results reinforces our commitment to ensuring the highest possible standards for all our students.

"This involves a huge team effort and I would like to thank the students, staff, governors, parents and carers for their tremendous hard work and support.”
