Man charged after carjacking
A MAN has been charged in connection with a carjacking in Fernhill.
Ejaz Mussarat, aged 45, of Grove Road, Merton, London has been charged with robbery, attempted assault and dangerous driving. He has also been charged with driving while disqualified and without insurance.
He was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today.
The charge relates to a carjacking shortly before 7.30pm on Monday, August 20 in St Mark’s Square, Fernhill.
