MOST of us love a cheeky takeaway. But how well can you stomach the truth behind what goes into some of our favourite takeaway treats?

BBC Studios are looking for takeaway-loving families in Blackburn with Darwen, to feature in the new series about the trials and tribulations of takeaway food.

The programme will delve into the truth behind the production of the likes of pakoras, pizza and Pad Thai, to cut through the confusion and kickstart some tasty changes to your diet.

The series is the latest in the line of the myth-busting docu-series produced by BBC Science, ‘The Truth About…’.

Each episode features different presenters and experts who do some digging into what really happens behind the scenes.

Would you like to cut down on takeaways but need a bit of motivation?

Are you up for trying two weeks without any takeaways for a TV experiment, following some expert advice?

Do you and your family know what goes into your food and where it comes from?

Could you make some changes to your food habits and help improve them with expert advice?

If you think your family fits the bill, and would have some time to do some filming in October, please email Beth at truth.about@bbc.co.uk for more information.
