FOUR men suffered serious injuries during a violent assault in Great Harwood.

Police have launched an appeal after the incident which took place on August 10 when they received reports that four men were injured on Glebe Street, close to Baggy’s wine bar.

Two men, aged in their 20s, suffered injuries to their jaws which required surgery, a third man, aged 25, was knocked unconscious and a 20 year old was injured to his mouth and cheek.

Following enquiries, detectives now want to speak to seven people in connection with their investigation.

They said all seven men had been identified but no arrests have been made yet.

DC Vicky Heys of East CID, said: “This appears to be a violent altercation that has resulted in four men being seriously injured.

“We are doing all we can to find out who is responsible and are making a number of enquiries.

“If you recognise the people in the CCTV, or have any information at all that may help, please contact us immediately.”
