BANK holiday weekend will see musicians take to the stage at a festival.
Blackrod Festival 2019 will be kicking off from 2pm on Sunday, featuring acts along with a variety of other entertainment and food.
Blackrod Cricket Club will play host to live music from Charlotte Shepherd, Logan Stryx and an Ed Sheeran tribute, along with another headline act to be announced in the coming days.
The festival will also feature a fairground for all the family to enjoy.
There will be food on offer, including ice cream, a barbecue and Chinese food. A full gin and Prosecco bar will also be available throughout the day.
Entry is £2.50 with under 12s going free.
Tickets are available on the day, or customers can buy in advance from the cricket club, Horwich Appliances in Winter Hey Lane and Readey’s Trophies in Chorley Old Road.
