Three police officers were injured after being called out to a domestic assault case.
Officers were called to Wellington Avenue, Sidcup at 7pm on Saturday where a male suspect was identified on the street
Police arrested him on suspicion of domestic assault.
At this point, two other men in the area began attacking the three uniformed police officers present.
One of the officers used a taser but it did not make contact with the attackers.
Police then requested assistance and shortly after other officers arrived and three men were promptly arrested on suspicion of assault on emergency workers. They have been taken to a south London police station for questioning.
All three officers suffered minor injuries only and did not initially require hospital treatment, but they have now sought medical attention. They remain on duty.
