A WOMAN who had been drinking pink gin at work took her boyfriend's car to get some late night food despite not being able to drive.
Blackburn magistrates heard Tanesha Lee-Shepherd attracted the attention of the police as she "bunny-hopped" the car along Bank Street in Rawtenstall in the early hours of the morning on March 31.
Lee-Shepherd, 20, of Haworth Drive, Stacksteads, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol, without a licence and without insurance.
She was banned from driving for 14 months, fined £120 with £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge and .
The court heard Lee-Shepherd stopped the Kia Sorento when a police officer activated the blue lights.
She admitted drinking three pink gins before taking her boyfriend's car to go for a McDonalds.
Scott Parker, defending, said she accepted the alcohol had clouded her judgement and she made the foolish decision to drive.
