A DRUNK misbehaving in Darwen town centre at midday told police his mum had studied law and they couldn't arrest him.
Blackburn magistrates heard Tomas Maher was arrested after he refused to take the advice offered by officers and move on quietly.
Maher, 19, of James Street, Darwen, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Duckworth Street.
The court was told officers tried to move him on but the teenager would not listen to them.
He was fined £40 with £85 costs and £32 victim surcharge.
