A SUPPORTED living services' 'friendly and inclusive atmosphere' was amongst the praise watchdogs lavished on it following an inspection.

Staff at Limes Place in Colne were also found to be kind and respectful during a Care Quality Commission inspection in June.

Watchdogs gave the service an overall rating of 'good', which it also received in all areas for its safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership.

A CQC report reads: "People made positive comments about the staff and managers. Staff interacted with people in a kind and friendly manner.

"Staff knew people well and were respectful of their choices and lifestyles.

"People's privacy and dignity was respected.

"People were enabled to be independent and develop their skills.

"Limes Place had a friendly and inclusive atmosphere," the report added.

The supported living setting contains 11 single occupancy apartments.

The service provides personal care and support for people with a mental illness.

At the time of the inspection there were seven people accommodated at the service
