PEOPLE living close to a recycling centre have been warned to keep their windows and doors closed after a blaze broke out.
Fire crews are currently tackling the fire in Every Street, Bury, which started at about 12.25pm.
The blaze, which involves three stacks of paper and card, is under control and jets are currently being used to extinguish the flames.
Six appliances are at the scene.
Due to "light smoke" emanating from the fire, residents are being advised to keep their doors and windows shut.
