A MAN became frustrated when police ignored his complaint that his brother had set fire to his caravan home.
Blackburn magistrates heard Jan Clough swore at the police and called a female officer a "skank" before he was arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
Clough, 35, of Bridge Street, Rishton, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly. He was fined £45 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge.
Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said police went to Cliff Street in Rishton where they found Clough with a can of beer in his hand shouting at various people.
He shouted abuse at the police officers and then kicked their van before being arrested.
Clough said the caravan which his lived in had been set on fire by his brother and when the police arrived he was "going mad" at his sibling.
"They didn't seem interested in what he had just done," said Clough.
