A MAN has been taken to hospital after his car crashed into a wall outside a pub.
Crews from Colne and Nelson were called to the incident near The Venue pub on Albert Road at 11.55am this morning.
A Lancashire Fire spokesman said: "The gentleman had got out of the car and had collapsed.
"He was being assisted to by the ambulance crews.
"The road was closed for some time while the fire crews, ambulance and police were there."
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "We were called at around 11:55am this morning (Thursday, July 25th) to the report of a collision on Albert Road, Colne.
"A car has collided with a wall opposite The Venue.
"Road closures are in place in the area.
"The driver of the car has been taken to hospital."
