A NEW corporate sponsor has been secured for Accrington Stanley's Clayton End.

Law firm Farleys, which has an office in Willow Street, Accrington, among others, has signed a two-year deal with the League One club.

Renovation work on the stand, usually home to Stanley's most vocal supporters, was completed in 2016.

Ian Liddle, a partner at Farleys Solicitors said, "As a firm with a strong heritage in Lancashire, we are delighted to become the sponsor of Accrington Stanley's famous Clayton End, ahead of what we hope will be another exciting season at the club."

Daniel Bowerbank, the club's commercial manager, added: "The significant sponsorship provided by Farleys will see their name emblazoned across the roof of the Clayton End, which is known for its noise from supporters throughout the season."

The deal, just weeks before the 2019-20 season, sees the law firm take over naming rights for the stand from William Dyer Electricals.
