A MAN who was barred from a Burnley pub tried to push his way past staff because he wanted to see his girlfriend who worked there.
Blackburn magistrates heard Philip Richard Charles Bell was ejected by a customer and responded by throwing two pint glasses, forcing staff to take evasive action.
Bell, 28, of Marlborough Road, Liverpool, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly outside the Swan Inn, St James Street, on June 26. He was fined £80 with £85 costs and £32 victim surcharge.
Ann Deakin, prosecuting, said when police arrived Bell was outside the pub shouting abuse.
Mark Williams, defending, said his client accepted he had drunk far too much.
