AN ambitious opticians chain is looking to create a new base in Bury town centre.
Specscart has its eye on converting premises in Bank Chambers, in Union Street, into a new practice.
The outfit, to date, has established a successful operation in Worsley.
And now Prestwich-based Siddarth Sethi is looking to extend their reach across Greater Manchester.
If his blueprints find favour with the borough council, the ground floor would serve as a shop and showroom, with eye testing rooms.
And the first floor would be given over to light spectacle manufacture work and administration functions for the business, which would open seven days a week.
