A LAW firm in Bury has cemented its support for a health and wellbeing charity with a £1,000 donation.

Earlier this year WHN Solicitors became patron of Accrington-based Community Solutions North West.

And after finding out more about the work done to promote inclusivity across East Lancashire, and reduce social isolation, they have chipped in.

Diane Matthews, a legal executive at WHN, said: "As new patrons, we are especially keen to get involved in the work of Community Solutions, as they really make a positive difference to the wellbeing of local people going through challenging times, and to the community as a whole."

Deborah Clark, Community Solutions chief executive, added: "The donation comes at a time when we need to expand our social isolation work to meet many health and wellbeing issues and we are thrilled that this donation will help us to do that.

"And, of course, we are looking forward to working together in partnership on many other aspects of our work."

Diane is also attending a Community Connections session at their Elmfield Hall HQ on Fridays, from 10am, running a legal drop-in clinic.
