Hyndburn Council is urging residents to sign up to its garden waste collection scheme
SUMMER is here and Hyndburn residents are being urged to renew or sign up to the council’s garden waste collection scheme.
Cabinet member for environmental issues, Cllr Paul Cox, said: "Now’s the time to either renew, or sign up for the council’s garden waste collection scheme, which allows you to recycle your garden waste straight from your home.
"The scheme runs from March to November and for just £30 per bin per year our recycling teams will collect your garden waste every fortnight throughout the season."
