A PRODUCTION company pulled out all the stops when a Lancashire spare parts specialist wanted to boost its worldwide profile.

Bosses at Northern Industrial drafted in Bury-based Bigtank when they wanted to tell the story of how they had grown to be an exporter to 146 nations.

The award-winning Blackburn outfit commissioned the Cuba Industrial Estate videographers to produce seven short films, highlighting their products and services.

From their base in East Lancashire, the parts firm sources items from more than 1,350 manufacturers and has more than 200,000 entries in its catalogues, as part of stock valued at around £7million.

Rob Hallam, Bigtank’s managing director, said: “The passion of all the employees we interviewed matched to the sheer scale of the business and the variety of the filming opportunities made this a successful and enjoyable project from the outset.

“We delivered a total of seven films for Northern Industrial, that they can now rollout across their website, e-mail campaigns and on social media to really engage with their audience.”

The video specialists have been in business since 2005 and count brand leaders such as Mercedes Benz and Manchester United, and major public bodies like the NHS, among their clients. Chef Marco Pierre White also approached them to produce a film for a Chester restaurant launch.

Live events are another speciality, with the Lancashire Business Expo, at Preston’s Guild Hall, and the Shout Network Member Exhibition, in Bolton, under their belts already in 2019.

Last weekend the company was also on hand, for the third year running, to film Rossendale Hospice’s Colour Run, where athletes are bombarded with paints while completing a four kilometre dash around the valley.
