Bay Horse New Inns 1984
THIS dramatic picture from the Telegraph archives shows the results of a major blaze which destroyed, much of the Bay Horse New Inns on the hills above Rishton in 1984.
In its heyday the pub with attached function room was one of the in-places to go to attracting hundreds of revellers every weekend.
The function room also hosted a number of well known bands and was a key player in the area’s nightlife.
