TWO police officers were assaulted by a drunken woman when they were called to her mother’s house.
Blackburn magistrates heard Tracey Rose racially abused one of the officers’ ethnicity.
Rose, 40, of Larch Close, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated assault and assaulting an emergency worker. She was committed on bail to Burnley Crown Court to be sentenced on August 19.
Andy Robinson, prosecuting, said police were called to Larch Close at 2.50am because Rose was outside her mother’s house drunk and causing problems. She was throwing things at the windows and saying she wasn’t going to leave.
Officers tried to reason with her but she became racially abusive and both were kicked as they tried to handcuff her.

Damien Pickup, defending, said his client had no recollection of the incident.
“She says she doesn’t usually drink that much and says ordinarily she is not racist. She is ashamed and disgusted.”
