THE summer holidays are nearly here and Witton Park has got in there early with a free family fun day.
Go karts, a bouncy castle, a Punch and Judy show, a bucking bronco and a vintage bus ride were among the attractions laid on at the Blackburn venue in Saturday.
Live music also kept the grown-ups entertained, alongside a host of fun stalls.
Meanwhile this weekend will see an inflatable adventure world take over the town’s Corporation Park.
An inflatable sports zone will take centre stage and there are three separate assault courses, based around the Minions, Paw Patrol and ninja warriors, for young adventurers.
The gathering, which is aimed at two to 12-year-olds, will be open on each day from 10.30am to 5.30pm,
