Promoters of Pendle Business Week, back for an eighth year, are staging a seminar called Rise, on Wednesday, July 10.

Juggling a busy home life and work commitments will be the main focus, say economic development chiefs.

Cllr Mohammed Iqbal, council leader, said: "We want to give people the tools to help them to thrive and Make it in Pendle."

Marketing, social media skills, business crime reduction and even lifesaving techniques will be covered during different events, from today until Friday.
