TWO Bolton "skip rats" had a costly day out.
The town's magistrates heard the pair were caught inside the Darwen recycling centre before they could steal anything.
But they both ended up with a £275 bill after the court heard the offences put them in breach of a conditional discharge imposed for similar offences in Greater Manchester.
Taras Seals, 46, of Madeley Gardens, Bolton, and Barry Sykes, 51, of Thorpe Street, Bolton, both pleaded guilty to being found on enclosed premises for the purpose of theft and received fines and costs totalling £275.
