WORK on The Warren, Hillcrest Homes’ development of 31 new homes in Hurst Green is progressing at pace with the first of the new homeowners due to move in late Summer.

The Warren offers an irresistible combination of bespoke architecture, locally sourced materials, a superb specification and breathtaking views towards Pendle Hill.

Providing buyers with a taste of luxury living in this lovely location is a new show home which is open every weekend throughout June and then by appointment with Clitheroe based estate agents, Honeywell.

The new five-bedroom show home has been professionally dressed in the latest home décor trends by Hillcrest’s interior design experts and showcases the high standard of specification offered, including a choice of SieMatic kitchens incorporating integrated Neff appliances from Read based kitchen designers, Stuart Frazer. Other designer influences include bathrooms and en suites from Villeroy & Boch with brassware by Vado and porcelain tiling.

The Warren offers homes suited to buyers at all life stages, including four- and five-bedroom detached homes, three-bedroom semi-detached homes, two and three bedroom terraced homes and two-bedroom bungalows. Several properties are also available to purchase via Home Reach, the nationwide part-buy-part-rent home ownership initiative, priced from £156,000 (for a 60% share).

In keeping with the company philosophy to deliver ‘design-led’ development, Hillcrest has carefully crafted several different styles of home at The Warren, each unique to the location.

Sales Manager, Simone Milner, explains, “Each of the homes has been designed from scratch to suit its location within the development and in the wider context of the village of Hurst Green and the Ribble Valley. We wanted to give the development an air of maturity and a sense of belonging to the landscape, as if it had grown organically over time.

“To achieve this visually, we’ve incorporated both ivory render and natural sandstone into the build, varied the window styles and colour finishes and added mature planting. The internal layout of each home has also been designed to take full advantage of the natural light and stunning views. Of course, for the new homes to truly be in harmony with their environment, both aesthetically and ecologically, it was important to use locally sourced materials, such as sandstone from nearby Leeming Quarry,” she adds.

The development has been designed around a beautiful new ‘village green’ which will provide residents with an attractive communal space to socialise. At the heart of the green is a stunning 200-year-old Ash tree.

Says Simone, “The development will have a lovely wide, open feel to it and the new village green will contribute to this. We hope it is a space that will be enjoyed and utilised all year round by residents, whether it’s for picnics and playtime in the summer or carols around the Ash tree at Christmas.”

The show home is open from 11am to 3pm on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June or by appointment by calling Honeywell on 01200 426041. Visit www.hillcresthomes.co.uk for more information.
