MOTOR CAR and bike enthusiasts are gearing up for the Pendle Powerfest Challenge Tour on Saturday.
The charity event, coordinated in association with Vantage Toyota, is ideal for driving enthusiasts, offering them the opportunity to drive 100 miles on the superb and scenic roads of Lancashire and Yorkshire.
The cars will be setting off from Forest, Fence at around 9.45am; breakfast and coffee will be available from 8.30 and well-wishers are welcome to watch the vehicles set off on their journey.
In addition to the memorable drive itself, participants will receive their own numbered Rally Tour plaque and a route book which will be stamped at various stages along the way.
There will also be plenty of ‘selfie’ opportunities at designated points.
The cost of registering a vehicle to participate in the Challenge Tour is just £40.00, all of which will be donated to the two adopted
Pendle Powerfest good causes.
The rally will build on May’s Pendle Powerfest flagship day, which was held at Nelson and Colne College where World Superbikes legend and former “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here” winner Carl Fogarty MBE was the special guest.
