ECO-friendly cars went on display in the Mall Shopping Centre, Blackburn, for a three-day exhibition.

The Co-operative Insurance DrivingGreen Show came to town yesterday, after similar events in Bristol and Birmingham and London.

Leading car manufacturers displayed their latest eco cars, and a driving simulator was on site as well as tips and information on greener driving from the Energy Saving Trust and The Department of Transport.

Co-operative Insurance's head of brand management Kelvin Collins said: "We were delighted when Driving Green approached us to partner their roadshow.

"We cannot fail to be aware of the impact of climate change, and at Co-operative Insurance we believe every person can 'make a tiny difference' by making small changes to their lifestyle."
