A CARE home remains in special measures after its latest inspection.
Inspectors found residents at Belvedere Care Home, in Accrington, were not always safe.
The care home, on Wellington Street, accommodates up to 38 people, and was rated inadequate by the Care Quality Commission when they visited in November last year.
An inspection in April has now seen the care home given the same rating.
CQC inspectors said in a report: “ People were not always safe.
“We found hazardous cleaning products and a small canister of butane gas were accessible in people’s bedrooms. “
Natacha Atkinson, manager of the care home, said: “Following the CQC report we have now recruited a new consultancy agency called Caresolve. We are working with them to put improvements in place and achieve better ratings. Actions have been taken to address concerns and get the care home back to where we want it to be.
"The turnaround and reviews we have for Caresolve are very good and CQC are very familiar with Caresolve input in to other homes and have confidence in them and so do we.”
